Introduction and design of Turnbuckles

Turnbuckle use a screw to expand and contract, which can adjust the tightness of the wire rope, bundle the components during transportation, and correct the tightness during installation.
It is composed of an adjusting bolt with left and right-handed threads, a nut and a pull rod. The fixing rod is fixed by a cover plate, a fixing plate, a guide plate, and an anti-theft release device. During in use, a special matching sleeve must be used to unscrew the anti-theft and anti-loosening nut, which has a good anti-theft effect and is safe and reliable. After the anti-theft relaxation device is disassembled, it is not necessary to take it down, and the ring guide plate on the sliding device is used to slide along the rod to adjust the operation for a certain distance, so it is convenient to use. Its structure is simple, easy to process, low in cost, and strong in practicability. It is especially suitable for power lines, especially as a positioning device for high-voltage iron tower rods.

Turnbuckles are usually made of cast steel. When designing and calculating, only the corresponding tie bolt need be calculated, the specifications of body should be one level higher than the bolt.
