Definition

Oil-filled transformer is an oil-immersed power device that converts the current and AC voltage of one system into the current and voltage of another system through electromagnetic induction. It consists of a core and two or more windings sheathed on it.

Features

1.The transformer core is stacked by imported high-quality cold-rolled silicon steel sheet, which reduces no-load current greatly, and makes the core bound to ensure compactness of the core and reduce noise.

2.High-low voltage winding is wound with oxygen-free cooper, low-voltage winding of 500kVA and below adopts double layer cylinder structure, that of 630kVA and above adopts double helix and four helix structure, and high-voltage winding adopts mutilayer cylinder structure.

3.Transformer winding connection adopts Dyn11 to reduce influences of harmonic wave on the power grid and imporve power supply quality.

4.The transformer is of full-sealed structure to prolong the shelf life and avoid suspended core use and maintenance.

5.The measured noise level is below the standard.

Function and role

a. Except for the low-capacity windings using copper wires, oil-immersed transformers generally use a cylindrical structure with a copper foil around the shaft; high-voltage windings use a multilayer cylindrical structure to make the ampere-turn distribution of the windings balanced and magnetic leakage Small, high mechanical strength and strong short-circuit resistance.

b. The iron core and the windings are each tightened. The height of the device, the low-voltage lead and other fastening parts are equipped with self-locking lock nuts. The unsuspended core structure is used to withstand the shock of transportation.

c. The coil and iron core are vacuum-dried, and the transformer oil is vacuum-filtered and oil-filled, which minimizes the moisture inside the transformer.

d. The oil tank uses a corrugated sheet, which has a breathing function to compensate for the volume change of the oil caused by temperature changes, so this product does not have an oil storage tank, which obviously reduces the height of the transformer.

e. Since the corrugated sheet replaces the oil storage tank, the transformer oil is isolated from the outside, which effectively prevents the entry of oxygen and moisture and reduces the insulation performance.

f. According to the above five performances, it is ensured that the oil-immersed transformer does not need oil change during normal operation, which greatly reduces the maintenance cost of the transformer and prolongs the service life of the transformer.

Classification

1. Non-enclosed oil-immersed transformers: There are mainly S8, S9, S10 and other products, which are widely used in industrial and mining enterprises, agriculture and civil buildings.

2. Enclosed oil-immersed transformers: There are mainly S9, S9-M, S10-M and other series products, which are mostly used in places with many oil pollution and multiple chemical substances in the petroleum and chemical industries.

3. Sealed oil-immersed transformers: mainly BS9, S9-, S10-, S11-MR, SH, SH12-M and other products, which can be used for power distribution in industrial and mining enterprises, agriculture, civil buildings and other places.

In addition, there are various special purpose special transformers. For example, high-voltage transformers for testing, transformers for electric furnaces, transformers for welding and transformers used in thyristor circuits are used for measuring instrument voltage transformers and current transformers.
