Oscillators

Oscillators is mainly suitable for the oscillation culture of various liquid and solid compounds such as biology, biochemistry, cells, bacteria and other scientific research departments in major universities and colleges, medical, petrochemical, health and epidemic prevention, and environmental monitoring.

Definitions and materials

Oscillator is a kind of energy conversion device-it converts DC electric energy into AC electric energy with a certain frequency. There are two main types of oscillators: harmonic oscillators and relaxation oscillators.

An oscillator is an electronic component used to generate repetitive electronic signals (usually sine or square waves). The circuit it forms is called an oscillating circuit. An electronic circuit or device capable of converting direct current to a certain frequency alternating current signal output.

Classification

There are many types, which can be divided into self-excited oscillators and other-excited oscillators according to the oscillation excitation method; they can be divided into resistance-capacitor oscillators, inductor-capacitor oscillators, crystal oscillators, tuning fork oscillators, etc. according to the circuit structure; Sine wave, square wave, sawtooth wave and other oscillators. Widely used in electronics industry, medical treatment, scientific research, etc.

Oscillators are mainly divided into RC, LC oscillator and crystal oscillator
1. The RC oscillator uses the RC network as the frequency-selective phase-shift network. The oscillator is collectively called the RC sinusoidal oscillator and belongs to the audio oscillator.

2. The LC oscillator uses the LC oscillation loop as the phase feedback and frequency selection network. The positive feedback oscillator is called the LC oscillator.
Classification of LC oscillator:
①Transformer coupling · Single tube LC sine oscillator · Differential pair LC sine oscillator
② Three-point type · Capacitive three-point type (coppitz) oscillator · Inductive three-point type (Hartley) oscillator
③Improved three-point type
④ Differential pair tube oscillator

Crystal oscillator
The oscillator’s oscillation frequency is controlled by a quartz crystal.

Temperature coefficient oscillator
1. Temperature coefficient oscillator refers to an oscillator. There is a specific relationship between its oscillation frequency and temperature, that is, different temperatures correspond to different oscillation frequencies. Conversely, by measuring the output frequency of the oscillator, the temperature value can be measured.
2. High temperature coefficient oscillator: Its oscillation frequency is greatly affected by temperature. If the temperature changes a little, the frequency will change a lot, that is, it is sensitive to temperature and is mostly used for temperature sensors.
3, low temperature coefficient oscillator: its oscillation frequency is little affected by temperature, even if the temperature changes greatly, its frequency is basically unchanged.

Quartz crystal oscillator
Quartz crystal oscillators include non-temperature compensated crystal oscillators, temperature compensated crystal oscillators (TCXO), voltage controlled crystal oscillators (VCXO), thermostatically controlled crystal oscillators (OCXO), and digital / μp compensated crystal oscillators DCXO / MCXO).

Temperature compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO)
TCXO is a quartz crystal oscillator that reduces the amount of change in the oscillation frequency caused by ambient temperature changes through an additional temperature compensation circuit.
