The planetary gear reducer is mainly characterized by small size, large bearing capacity and stable work.
★ Power is input from one of the sun wheels and output from the other, and the planet carrier is stopped by the braking mechanism;
★ Power is input from one of the sun wheels, output from the planet carrier, and the other sun wheel is braked;
★ Power is input from the planet carrier, output from one of the sun wheels, and the other sun wheel is braked;
★ Two powers are input from two sun wheels respectively, and output from the planet carrier after synthesis.
● The main characteristics of planetary gear transmission are small size, large bearing capacity and stable work. However, high-power high-speed planetary gear transmission has a complicated structure and requires high manufacturing accuracy.
● Some types of planetary gear transmission have high efficiency, but the transmission ratio is not large;
● For other types, the transmission ratio can be large, but the efficiency is low. When they are used as reducers, their efficiency decreases as the transmission ratio increases;
● When used as a speed increaser, self-locking may occur.
