Oil-immersed power transformer

Oil-immersed transformer, also known as oil-immersed test transformer. Oil-immersed transformers are fully oil-filled and sealed. The corrugated oil tank shell is a permanently sealed oil tank with its elasticity to accommodate the expansion of oil. Definition

Oil-immersed transformer, also known as oil-immersed test transformer. 1000kVA and above oil-immersed transformers must be equipped with outdoor signal thermometers and can be connected to remote signals. Gas relays and pressure protection devices should be installed for oil-immersed transformers of 800kVA and above. Oil-immersed transformers below 800kVA should be equipped with gas relays in consultation with the manufacturer according to the requirements of use.

Function and role

a. Except for copper cables, the low-voltage windings of oil-immersed transformers generally use a copper foil-wound cylindrical structure; the high-voltage windings use a multilayer cylindrical structure to make the amp windings balanced and magnetic leakage. Small, high mechanical strength and strong short-circuit resistance.

b. The iron core and the windings are each tightened. The height of the device, the low-voltage lead and other fastening parts are equipped with self-locking lock nuts. The unsuspended core structure is used to withstand the shock of transportation.

c. The coil and iron core are vacuum-dried, and the transformer oil is vacuum-filtered and oil-filled, which minimizes the moisture inside the transformer.

d. The oil tank uses a corrugated sheet, which has a breathing function to compensate for the volume change of the oil caused by temperature changes, so this product does not have an oil storage tank, which obviously reduces the height of the transformer.

e. Since the corrugated sheet replaces the oil storage tank, the transformer oil is isolated from the outside, which effectively prevents the entry of oxygen and moisture and reduces the insulation performance.
f. According to the above five performances, it is ensured that the oil-immersed transformer does not need oil change during normal operation, which greatly reduces the maintenance cost of the transformer and prolongs the service life of the transformer.
