Crank Mechanism

The crank link mechanism is the main movement mechanism of the engine. Its function is to transform the reciprocating motion of the piston into the rotational motion of the crankshaft, and at the same time, convert the force acting on the piston into the torque output by the crankshaft to drive the car wheel.

The crank connecting rod mechanism is composed of a piston group, a connecting rod group, a crankshaft and a flywheel group.

The crank connecting rod mechanism is composed of a body group, a piston connecting rod group and a crank flywheel group.
(1) Airframe group: cylinder block, cylinder gasket, cylinder head, crankcase, cylinder liner and oil pan

(2) Piston and connecting rod group: piston, piston ring, piston pin, connecting rod

(3) Crankshaft flywheel group: crankshaft, flywheel, torsional vibration damper, balance shaft

Function and characteristics

The function of the crank connecting rod mechanism is to provide a combustion place, which converts the expansion pressure of the gas generated after the fuel burns on the top of the piston into the torque of the crankshaft rotation and continuously outputs power.

(1) Change the pressure of the gas to the torque of the crankshaft.

(2) The reciprocating motion of the piston is changed to the rotational motion of the crankshaft.

(3) The combustion force on the top of the piston is converted to the torque of the crankshaft to output mechanical energy to the working machine.
