Classification

Incandescent light source
Incandescent lamp is a kind of heat radiation light source. The filament is heated by electric energy to cause incandescence and emit light. The light emitted is a continuous spectrum. Traditional car taillights with incandescent light sources are mainly composed of 4 parts: incandescent light source, single parabolic reflector, filter and light distribution mirror. Incandescent lamp is simple in structure and easy to use. It is the most commonly used light source with stable output and small change with ambient temperature.

Light-emitting diode (LED)
The principle of light-emitting diodes is that in a forward-biased junction diode, electrons in the N region and holes in the P region pass through the PN junction with each other, and the electrons and holes emit light in combination.

Neon light source
The neon light source is based on the principle that an electric field is applied to both ends of the discharge tube filled with an inert gas to cause continuous discharge. In this process, the excited inert gas atoms release photons to emit light when they return to the ground state. When filled with different inert gases, they can emit different colors of light.
