The front fog light is installed near the headlight, and is generally slightly lower than the position of the headlight, because the visibility in foggy weather is low, and the driver’s line of sight is limited. Red and yellow are the most penetrating colors. The color of the front fog light is yellow. This is because the yellow light has a longer light wave and has good fog transmission performance. The lamp power is generally 35W. When a single rear fog light is used, it should be installed on the left side of the vehicle’s longitudinal plane. Backlight The reversing light is installed at the rear of the car. It is used to illuminate the road behind the car and warn other vehicles and pedestrians. In contrast, the light color is white, and the power is generally 28W.
License Plate Light The license plate light is used to illuminate the vehicle license plate. It is required that the license plate number can be seen at 20m behind the vehicle at night. The license plate lamp is installed above or on the left and right sides of the license plate at the rear of the car. The light color is white and the bulb power is 8-10W. It does not have a separate switch control and is controlled by a wide or headlight switch. There must be a license plate lamp according to regulations, which must be controlled by the same switch as the small lamp.
Automotive interior lighting system The car interior lighting system consists of ceiling lights, instrument lights, step lights, work lights, and luggage compartment lights. It is mainly for the convenience of drivers and passengers. The light color is white and the bulb power is in the range of 2-20 W.
A ceiling light, which is installed on the top of the cab or cabin, is a lighting fixture in the cab or cabin. The light color is usually white.
Instrument light, installed in the instrument panel, it is used to illuminate the automobile instrument. The color of the light is generally white.
Step lights are generally installed on the left and right sides of the car’s getting on and off steps, and are used to illuminate the steps of the door for passengers to get on and off the car. The color of the lights is generally white.

Luggage compartment light: It is a lamp in the luggage compartment of the car. The light is white.
Reading light: It is installed at the front or top of the passenger seat. When the light is focused, the passenger reading will not cause glare to the driver, the lighting range is small, and some have an optical axis direction adjustment mechanism.
Door light: It is installed on the bottom of the inside of the car’s externally-opening door. When the door is opened, the door light is illuminated to notify pedestrians and vehicles that they should avoid it. The power is 5W and the light color is red.
Automotive Light Signal System Turn signal light Installed in the front, rear, left and right corners of the car, It is used to send flashing light signals when the car turns, so that vehicles in front and back, pedestrians, and traffic police know their driving directions. The light color of the turn signal lamp is amber platinum, and the power of the bulb is generally 20W. The indication distance of the car’s turn signal lights requires that the front and rear turn signal lights be visible from 100m away during the day, and the side turn signal lights are visible from 30m away during the day. The flashing frequency of the turn signal lamp should be controlled at 1.0 ~ 2Hz.
2. Danger warning signal light The hazard warning signal light is used to illuminate the front, rear, left, and right turn signals to issue a warning signal when the vehicle encounters an emergency and dangerous situation. Have the same requirements as turn signal lights.
3.Brake Light The brake light is due to the braking or deceleration signal of the vehicle. The brake lights are installed on both sides of the rear of the vehicle. The two brake lights should be symmetrical to the longitudinal axis of the car and at the same height. The light color of the brake lights is red, and it should be visible from a distance of 100m during the day.
4.Sidelight The position lights are installed on the front, rear, left and right edges of the car. Used to indicate car width when driving at night. It is used to mark the width and height of a car when it is driving at night, so it is also referred to as “width light” and “highlight” accordingly. Marker lights are visible at 300m away at night. The light color of the front indicator lamp is white, the light color of the rear indicator lamp is mostly red, and the power of the bulb is 8-10W.
