Definition

The hydraulic clutch relies on the stroke to automatically compensate the wear of the friction elements, and is easy to achieve serialization and standardization. Therefore, it is widely used on machine tools, engineering machinery and ships that require compact structures, frequent joining, high speed and long-distance operation.

Features

1) Large torque transmission capacity and small size, but when the size is the same, the transmission torque is 3 times larger than the electromagnetic clutch;

2) No shock, smooth starting and reversing, but not as fast as the pneumatic clutch.

Classification and characteristic

By structure
Hydraulic clutch can be divided into rotary hydraulic cylinder and fixed hydraulic cylinder according to the structure.
The former is compact in structure and small in size, but due to the rotation of the hydraulic cylinder, the moment of inertia is large, and the oil inlet joint is complicated, and the oil in the hydraulic cylinder has centrifugal force during rotation, which causes the oil pressure on the piston to be unevenly distributed.
Because the fixed hydraulic cylinder does not rotate, the moment of inertia is small, the oil inlet structure is simple and reliable, the operating cycle is fast, the return spring force can be smaller, but the external dimensions are larger, and larger thrust bearings are required, and the manufacturing is relatively complicated .

By working principle
Hydraulic clutches can be classified into toothed and frictional according to the working principle of the engagement element transmission.
The tooth-embedded clutch uses the teeth on the end faces of the two halves of the clutch to be engaged or disengaged to achieve the clutch of the master and slave shafts. The tooth shapes are rectangular, trapezoidal, triangular, zigzag and spiral. The advantage is that the transmission torque is large, the size is small, the structure is simple, and it does not slip during work, which can ensure that the main and driven parts rotate synchronously without friction loss.
The friction clutch uses the friction between the engaging elements to achieve the transmission purpose. The advantage is that the clutch and clutch are stable, compliant and non-impact. The clutch can be clutched and clutched at a high speed difference. It can protect against slippage during overload and has high adaptability.
Hydraulic clutch is a kind of automobile clutch, and its transmission device adopts hydraulic transmission.
The working principle of the hydraulic clutch: When the clutch pedal is depressed, the master cylinder piston is moved to the left through the push rod, and the oil in the master cylinder and the pipeline is pressurized and the pressure is increased. Under the action of oil pressure, the cylinder piston is also pushed to the left, pushing the release pedal, and driving the release bearing to release the clutch.

Applicable models

Compact structure, frequent joining, high-speed and long-distance operation on machine tools, engineering machinery and ships.
