Under normal circumstances, the protection of the motor and electrical appliances of the electric hoist is IP44. According to the degree of dust, the sealing performance should be improved accordingly, that is, protection (mainly the level of dust resistance is increased to IP54 or lP64.) In humid environment, the motor above 10kw should use additional pre-heating drying device, and the motor of the open-air crane should be covered with a rain cover. Under normal circumstances, when the humidity of the working environment is not more than 85%, the protection level of the crane is IP44, but the required humidity is 100%. Nuclear power plants have dust pollution caused by high-pressure water cleaning of nuclear equipment, so the protection level of the lifting equipment used must be increased. The electrical protection level of the crane should be IP55. Use in high temperature environment: The electric hoist cab should be an enclosed cab with electric fans or air conditioning. Motor windings and housings should be embedded with thermistors and other temperature control devices. When the temperature exceeds a certain limit, turn off the power to protect or increase the strong cooling measures of the motor.
