Good product, good way

What is the difference between electric hoist and pneumatic hoist?

For the pneumatic hoist and electric hoist, the difference is made from the working principle, load capacity, lifting speed, safety performance and application fields, as follows:

  1. The working principle is different:
The pneumatic hoist is driven by air, and the drive motor drives the internal mechanical parts to meet the working requirements of lifting heavy objects. Because it does not require a power source, it has explosion-proof functions.
Electric hoist is the electrical energy used to make the equipment work by voltage.

  2. Different load capacity:
Pneumatic hoist with a minimum load capacity of 250kg and a maximum load capacity of 100 tons.
Electric hoist has a minimum load capacity of 490kg and a maximum load capacity of 30 tons.

  3. Different lifting speed:
The hoisting speed of pneumatic hoist is generally the fastest 17m / min, almost four times that of electric hoist.

  4. Different safety performance:
Pneumatic hoist is used air as the driving force, no spark will be generated during use, it has explosion-proof function and high safety.
The electric hoist is driven by electric energy. In the process of use, electric leakage and shock may occur, which may cause sparks and safety risks.

  5. Different application fields:
Because of its explosion-proof function, pneumatic hoists are widely used in flammable and explosive working places, such as: chemical industry, petroleum coal mines, oil storage, shipbuilding, etc.
Electric hoists are widely used in the presence of power sources, equipment maintenance and machinery lifting, such as shot blasting machines, machining workshops, foundries, etc.
