Rust prevention and descaling of electric hoist

The electric hoist is a light and small lifting tool for metal work. There will be some rust on the electric hoist for a long time. However, the following methods can make the equipment not easy to rust and prolong the service life of the electric hoist.

1. The surface of the gear parts in the electric hoist gearbox is coated with anti-rust grease containing barium petroleum sultanate, and the construction condition and the integrity of the oil film are regularly checked. If rust is found, use hardwood or bamboo to scrape the rust spots and re-oil. If the original oil film is damaged or deteriorated, it should be cleaned with kerosene or gasoline, and then coated with anti-rust grease.
2. The exposed surface of the electric hoist, such as the exposed surface and the exposed thread surface, should be coated with calcium-based anti-rust grease or other anti-rust grease.
3. If it is a wire rope hoist, the surface of the wire rope should be coated with anti-rust lubricant. Under non-operational conditions, it should be wrapped with a cloth or plastic film.
4. Calcium-based anti-rust grease should be injected into the bearing of the hook to prevent rust, and check from time to time, the rust-proof effect, to achieve the effect of extended use.

Electric hoists are subject to rust and corrosion for a long time, which not only shortens the service life, but also affects the use. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly check and maintain it in time.
